Sandra Dean Band- Classic Rock & Blues @ Branded '72 | Rockville | Maryland | United States

Sandra Dean began her singing career at the age of 15 and has since performed professionally in Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, New Orleans and Nashville; where she recorded an original CD at Studio 17 Grand. In the 1980’s Sandra competed and won the regional Star Search Competition, which was just the start of her many accomplishments. Sandra is noted for working with bands such as, Albatross, Vegas, Night Steppin’, Double Play, Vertigo, Redline, and is currently the front woman of the Sandra Dean Band.

In the 2000’s, Sandra decided to share her love of music through starting a Vocal Coaching Business, where she helps students hone skills in vocal strength, stage presence performance preparation, and the technical skills behind singing.  Sandra is extremely excited to announce that she is currently recording her first all original CD, which will be released in February soon. Currently, she is performing solo, as well as in a duo, a trio, and with a 5 piece band, called the Sandra Dean Band. The band features exceptional musicians including Jay Silverman on Guitar, Rick Yon on Drums, Joel Hoskins on Bass Guitar, and Stoney Johnstone on Keyboards. Sandra plays fresh interpretations of Classic Rock and Soul songs.

A message from Sandy states, “It has been a great journey performing live music for others. There is no experience that has been more rewarding. I want to send out a special thanks to those of you who continue to show your support for local entertainers. The success of live music venue’s has really taken a toll as a result of the economy turn, so thank you to the clubs that continue to have live music and continue to cultivate the appreciation of music as well as support the long-term success of artists like myself and my students.”
